"Perfect weather plus perfect house equals perfect vacation." My sister and I have rented various houses from Dunes for the past 10 years. We have found Dunes' personnel to be outstanding and any concerns we had about the properties were addressed immediately. The location was perfect--beautiful ocean views from the deck, porch, and living room. The beach in that particular area was a little more crowded but there was plenty of space for all. The living area of Driftwood was wonderful for our growing families ( seating in the living room could be a little more comfortable and a bigger TV would be good). The kitchen and dining room were awesome--more than enough room for several people to cook and for all of us to sit at the table for dinner. The bed rooms were perfect(linens provided, which was a first for us) and the bathrooms were very, very clean and looked like new. The week we were there was hot and ceiling fans on the porch would have added to our comfort. The kids love to sit on the porch to play games and listen to music. The deck on our walkway provided us with a perfect view of fireworks and a great space for "Happy Hour". We love North Litchfield Beach and have reserved Driftwood for the same week next year. It is a wonderful home with family touches and personality.
